Here's the new shape for simple and efficient work in confined spaces. The SV08 is a tenacious worker for narrow spots such as housing foundations, indoor renovation, pipe laying and landscaping.

  • Ultra-small 2' 5" rear turning radius. The supremely compact body keeps rear overhang to just 1' during turning at maximum width, bringing even better turning perfromance in narrow passages.
  • Maneuvers trough gaps of only 2' 4" with a vehicle width of only 2' 3". The width of the ultr-mini Yanmar SV08 reduces to only 2' 3". The variable undercarriage allows the left and right tracks to raise and lower independently to correct the machine's angle on slopes or steps. This small, slim unit enters easily into tight areas.
  • The Trail-blazing adjustable Yanmar tracks. Adjust the track width for the job. Track width adjusts between 2' 3" and 2' 9".
  • Operator friendly - A pleasant way to work. The many easy to use features include the comfortable seat with retractable seat belt, sensitive lever controls, a footrest and uncomplicated lever arrangement.
  • Easy on the environment. The advanced C&S (Clean & Silent) diesel engine features clean exhaust, powerful output and noise of only 60 dB(A) at 23'. Satisfies EPA Tier II requirements.

Ultra-Tight Turning

The SV100 has been developed to satify the needs of ultra-tight turning. The turning radius in both front and rear is so small that the boom bracket stays entirely within the tracks. This smooth, tight turning radius adds versatility on tight work sites!


  • The SV100 has the Stability of a Conventional Style Unit. The wide spacing of the distinctive Yanmar offset tracks achieves a good grip on the ground and the high tensile strength steel plates keep the implement light. The outstanding balance is further enhanced by the newly developed large counterweight. The resulting stability is as great as that of a conventional style unit.
  • Convenient Bucket-Blade Operation. The blade is able to hold objects with the bucket, therefore it is very convenient to scoop objects by bucket without spill-over.
  • The First Tailor-Made Hydraulic Quick-Coupler in the Industry. It's standard equipment and makes switching buckets easy! The arm was designed from the start to accommodate our new hydraulic quick-coupler, so that job performance will be significantly enhanced. The use of a conventional coupler is relatively time-consuming, and results in reduced productivity. With the Yanmar hydraulic quick-coupler, attachment changes are faster and easier.
  • VICTAS (ViO Crawler Technology by Advanced Stability). VICTAS provides an expanded track gauge for more stability without increasing undercarriage width. The center of gravity is lowered without widening the "footprint" of the unit. The short-pitch rubber crawler permits more comfortable traveling.
  • Large Comfortable Operating Space. The SV100 offers lots of room for maximum comfort and productivity.
  • An Environmental Engine Inside. Clean exhaust and powerful output. The people-friendly Yanmar C&S (Clean and Silent) engines are approved under the emissions and the noise regulations of the EPA.
