Hydraulic Compactors

Huskie HC Series hydraulic compactors are designed for use with a wide variety of compact excavators, backhoes and excavators. The HC Series features models ranging from 3,000 lbs. of force up to 24,000 lbs. for the biggest compacting jobs.

Using the carrier's hydraulic system, HC Series compactors combine high frequency vibration with impact force to displace sir and water pockets in the material being compacted. The three basic soil types: granular, clay and organic, can be quickly and efficiently compacted. HC Series compactors can also be effective in driving sheeting, H beams and I beams into most soil types.

Applications
  • Trenching - Compacting with hand-held compactors, in the trench, can be a thing of the past if you've got a Huskie mounted compactor. not only can you keep people out of the tench, you can usually increase the lift size in the trench from six inches to three or even four feet. Think about what that can do for your productivity and on-the-job equipment utilization!
  • Slopes - There's never been a better, safer or more efficient way to tackle slope compaction. Slopes can be difficult, dangerous or downright impossible with hand-held equipment. With the reach and maneuverability provided by your carrier, slopes are no longer a problem.
  • Pile Driving - Using a Huskie mounted compactor, you can drive posts, pilings, Z sheeting and I beams. Push pipe or install guardrail, all with no extra investment and with the equipment that's already on the job.

Compaction Wheel

Huskie Hydraulic Hammers Compaction Wheel works through trench fill to compact soil from the bottom to the top. Operators, experienced with the "feel" of the wheel in the trench, can determine if the appropriate compaction has been reached by the way the hydraulic controls of the machine handle the attachment.
