When you need to dry hay fast, consider the flipside with a New Holland 166 windrow inverter. The Model 166 gently lifts, fluffs and inverts windrows without roughing up the hay. Keeping more of the protein-rich leaves intact means you put higher quality hay into the bale or silo.

If a storm hits without warning and your field is wet, use the Model 166 to quickly move windrows onto dry ground. As the windrows are moved, they are fluffed and inverted, allowing air to circulate through the hay, exposing the wet underside to the sun and wind to speed drying time.

  • Lifts, fluffs and turns windrows, while keeping more of the protein-rich leaves intact.
  • Ground drive system powers the pickup and conveyor to better match ground speed.
  • 65-inch Super-Sweep pickup operates in large or small windrows.
  • Flotation system protects pickup by floating over uneven terrain.
  • Wide-belt cross conveyor assures smooth flow of crop from pickup to the discharge chute.
  • Left-hand deflector can be adjusted to three positions for light and heavier crops.
  • Optional hydraulic drive is available to drive conveyor belt, allowing better speed control for varying crop conditions or reverse capability.
  • Optional cross conveyor extension allows you to place two 12', 14' or 16' -spaced windrows together for pickup by a high-capacity baler or forage harvester.
  • Optional right-side dual wheel improves traction in heavy crops or soft soil.
  • Optional left-side pickup wheel for additional height control. Allows pickup flotation to be adjusted for rough field conditions.
