Centrifugal Models
- The Model XA spreaders are a one-piece metal stamped hopper that provides a perfect degree of descent for maximum seed flow. A simple adjustment of the lower lever allows spreading to the left, center or right side of the tractor.
- The Model XL Series spreaders are a plastic hopper version of the Model XA. The XL plastic hopper spreaders are equipped with a stainless steel bottom. Adjustments for controlling the width and direction of spread are similar to the XA.
- Options for both spreaders include deflectors for spreading salt, side conveyor, articulated agitator for speading powdery or damp fertilizer and a mechanical remote control.
Pendulum Models
- Pendulum spreaders are ideal for use on golf courses, sports fields, campuses, etc. Pendulum spreaders also provide accurate applications in vineyards and orchards. Agrex manufactures pendulum spreaders with unbreakable plastic hoppers and stainless steel spreading disks. Options include a steel spout for spreading on rows, a spout for spreading salt and sand, and a hydraulic remote control. Pendulum spreaders are used whenever there is a demand for accuracy in fertilizer application. The pendulum movement of the spout provides an application rate that is identical on both sides. The side-to-side movement of the spout causes the fertilizer to be thrown to the left and right side. Wind influence is minimized by the accurate application of the spout.
